I don't know how I kept smiling everyday and was okay with Zack being gone. It got really crazy and I can't remember it all that well but he eventually left and the night went on. I kept threatening to call the cops and he didn't care he wasn't leaving until he talked to David. It felt like the argument went on forever. I wouldn't let him because David is small, Zack is big. He was crying and freaking out saying he wanted to talk to David. He came to the front window and I opened it. I locked my sister and all her friends outside so they couldn't let him in and I made Travis and David lock themselves in my room just incase Zack got in. David, Travis, and I were in my house hanging out when my sister runs in and says, 'Zack is here in his truck, he doesn't seem very happy.' I immediately run to lock all the doors. My sister had a bunch of her friends over and they were outside in the pool. I specifically remember one night because it was really bad. I would go crazy and scream at him telling him to leave or I would call the cops. He would come there and try to get into my house and fight him. He would show up at my house at random times and threaten to hurt David. Seriously, somehow I let go of my high school sweetheart and was already with someone else. I spent every waking moment with David and we eventually started dating. I am stronger now because of it.Īfter everything happened with the breakup I tried my hardest to stay away from Zack and forget about him completely. This all probably seems so dramatic but that 2 and a half years was one of the biggest parts of my life.

If I could go back I don't know if I would do anything differently.

At this point in my life I am thankful for the way things have turned out and I am glad I took a year to be independent and free even though it was really hard. You are growing with someone else and not finding who you are. The way I look at it now is that when you start dating someone so young you do not have time to grow on your own. I still loved Zack so much the whole year. If I wouldn't have became friends with Ines I don't know how I would have gotten through my senior year. We did a lot of crazy stuff and we wished she lived at my house. Through all of this Ines and I stayed really close and she basically lived with me and not her host family. By February I was out of that group of people but that was definitely an experience. It was not a good group of people and it got me into bad things and into trouble. We looked out for each other but I also made some other friends. Ines is from Spain and she is kind of a partier so we started to party. She was awesome and I knew I had to keep her around. We would go for late night drives and she would listen to me vent and cry my eyes out. She quickly became my best friend, we did everything together. I told her all about Zack and she helped keep me sane in the classes we had with them. I only had three classes because of career center and I had them all with her. I became friends with an exchange student named Ines. I had no friends at school so I decided I should probably make some. Even my close friends Becca and Lyndsey had other things going on in their lives because they still cared about stuff. I would go to school and act happy and go home and cry the rest of the night. My grades started to fall, I wasn't participating in student council, and I started not to care about anything. I don't know if I actually became depressed but it was all really sucky. My first hour was math with the both of them and then my third hour was anatomy also with both of them. I really had no idea how it could get worse.

The worst part about it all was that I had two classes with not only Zack but also his new girlfriend. Everything was so different, I barely had any friends, and I didn't have Zack. It felt like everyone hated me for what I did. The first day of school came and I hated every moment. I completely screwed my life up over one dumb decision. Well, I never got him back he was just with his girlfriend and that was that. I ended up breaking up with him before school started and tried so hard to get Zack back. As he was gone I extremely regretted every decision I made over the summer and realized I really didn't like David. David moved away to Ohio before I even started school.
